Borobudur: The Biggest Buddhist Temple In The World

Arghhh!! Borobudur Temple, who does not know about this temple. Just ask elementary school childrens, surely they know Borobudur. Definitely too many of those who visited Borobudur Temple. Borobudur has become one of the main tourist destinations in Central Java. Actually, Borobudur is located in Magelang, Central Java. Not in Yogyakarta as many people know. Magelang is the area immediately adjacent to the province of Yogyakarta Special Region.
My Sister
But unfortunately since childhood I've never totally seen this temple. Maybe just me in my family that has not had the opportunity to see the splendor of this temple. All schools must have conducted a study tour to Yogyakarta. But don't know why I never joined. Long enough curiosity was saved, and suddenly i am eager to see the famous Borobudur And now finally the opportunity is came. I am not alone, because my sister can accompany me  to Jogja. So she can take a picture of me. Everybody knows that i am narcis. :p
we left home at 5 am in the morning, hoping to get at Borobudur when the weather is still nice,  not too hot.

The journey that we've been through is lil bit far. More than 4 hours  pass through mountainous areas and forests because we deliberately choose an alternative way to shorten over time. We had several times to stop, not because we wanted a break but because we wanted to take pictures. we did pansy photos: D. Too good to pass up the beautiful scenery. The camera is very accommodating of my hobbies. Thank you so much Ray for the camera, i really love this stuff very much. you know who i am .... a model wanna be: p

Finally arrived at Borobudur, after several stray because no clear signage or maybe just me who did not see the instructions. Not as expected, it turns out there has been very hot and many people. incidentally is now the weekend, many people visit this renowned temple. Search for motorcycle parking in front of the complex of Borobudur. just select it, the charge one-time parking is Rp.3.000. After parking the our motorcycle, we make a quick break to stretch my legs and body. Es dawet is a drink that is appropriate for quench after a long journey. The price is quite cheap only Rp. 4,000 / glasses. It feels fresh once for a dry throat.

The path from the motorcycle parking lot to the entrance gate of the Borobudur is not too far away. Passing many souvenir shop merchants. Start of miniature temple of Borobudur, a mortar, to t-shirts with Borobudur picture. Arriving in the ticket counter, the queue is already long. The ticket prices is Rp. 30,000 for local tourists and USD 90 for the foreigner. The weather is usually very hot in Borobudur Temple, it is advisable to hire an umbrella, five thousand dollars only.

My first impressions see this temple is just amazing, how in those days they could build a magnificent and very hug building. In fact, at that time they still don't know about technology yet. How do they lift up the stone?
